Anshindo is a healing clinic that offers acupuncture, massage, and bodywork services in Roppongi and Nishiazabu. We have been in business for 30 years, and we are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 am the next morning, every day of the year. We also provide home visits and on-site services for those who cannot come to our clinic.

1993 (30 years since establishment), the predecessor started an acupuncture and moxibustion massage clinic in Azabu-juban, and he told business people and executives who work late because of the location, “There are treatment centers that are open during the day, but there are no places where I can get treatment or massage until late! I have an important meeting tomorrow! This led to the extension of our hours of operation to later hours.
Now we are open until 5:00 in the morning.

Acupuncture and moxibustion are ancient therapeutic methods rooted in traditional Chinese medicine.
Acupuncture involves inserting very thin needles into specific points on the body. These points, known as ‘meridians’ or ‘channels’, are believed to be pathways through which the body’s vital energy, or ‘qi’, flows. By stimulating these points, acupuncture aims to restore balance to the flow of qi, thus promoting health and healing. It’s commonly used to treat pain, but also a wide variety of other ailments.
Moxibustion is a technique that involves burning a small, spongy herb called ‘mugwort’ near the skin’s surface. This can be done either directly, where a small amount of mugwort (referred to as a ‘moxa’) is placed on an acupuncture point and lit, or indirectly, where it’s burned atop a needle or held close to the skin. The heat from the burning moxa stimulates the acupuncture point, and this is believed to invigorate the flow of qi and warm the body.
Both acupuncture and moxibustion are used to prevent and treat diseases, alleviate pain, and improve overall well-being. While their mechanisms of action are not fully understood in Western medical terms, numerous studies have shown their effectiveness for various conditions.

- Both our reception and treatment staff are not fluent in English, so we may use translation apps to assist with communication.
- We do not accept individuals who are intoxicated.
- After the treatment, you may feel temporarily lethargic, but there’s no need for concern.
- Acupuncture might leave small areas of internal bruising, but these are absorbed by the body quickly and are not a cause for concern.
- All needles used in acupuncture are disposable.

I am committed to providing immediate and long-lasting treatment for pain and painful symptoms, which I have developed in the sports and clinical fields.
My specialties are treatment of sleeping disorders, stiff shoulders, eyestrain, back pain, and lower back pain. We treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
We also specialize in deep pressure shiatsu and massage to get to the core of the stiffness.
Inheriting the spirit of my predecessors, I am currently working on training younger staff members. I will continue to devote myself to becoming an acupuncture practitioner who can be relied upon for both physical and mental comfort.

How long does it take to get here after I call?

Do you charge travel expenses?

In some areas (Minato-ku, Shinjuku-ku, Shibuya-ku, and Chuo-ku), we do not charge a transportation fee. In other areas, we charge in increments of 1,000 yen for longer distances. Please check with us.

Are needles disposable?

All needles used in our clinic are disposable. We are very careful about hygiene. After treatment, they are disposed of as medical waste.

We have many female patients. Please feel free to use our services.

Is there anything I need to prepare?

We will provide the tools and oil (if you wish to have an oil massage). Towels, comfortable clothes, etc. are to be provided by the patient.
For in-office treatments, a change of clothes and amenities are provided, so please come empty-handed. -
Is it possible to combine menus?

Yes, you can combine the following menus: bodywork, shiatsu massage, acupuncture and moxibustion, and oil massage (On-location service only).
The nearest stations are Roppongi Station (Hibiya Line and Oedo Line) and Nogizaka Station (Chiyoda Line).
From Roppongi Station, take exit 2 (Hibiya Line) and walk for about 8 minutes
From Nogizaka Station, take exit 5 (Chiyoda Line) and walk for about 7 minutes
The clinic is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 am the next day, all year round.
